İstanbul University Library and Documentation Department, Turkish Library Association Istanbul Branch and Cultural Sharing Platform, on March 29, 2017 at Istanbul University PhD Hall, one of our 53rd Library Week events, “Library Applications for Disabled Students” is held.
The panel started with opening speech of Dr.Pervin Bezirci, our Head of Department, followed by Mustafa Özyürek’s, President of the Istanbul Branch of the Turkish Librarians Association, in which he stated that they are celebrating the 53rd Library Week this year adding that “In fact, our main theme is to make the libraries a third address and we can not exclude our disabled users.” The following participants made speeches respectively;

Bahar Biçen Aras (MEF University, Culture Exchange Platform) “Disability Libraries and Practices in Turkey”.
