The exhibition entitled "Feyhaman Duran Between Two Worlds", organized in cooperation with İstanbul University and Sabancı Holding, opened after the press conference held at Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum (SSM) on 12 January 2017.

At the exhibition, a part of the house in Beyazıt where the artist spent a large part of his life with Güzin Duran, his wife and a painter,  who introduced more than 1000  western artists in the transition period from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic whos works have been displayed in the context of special arrangements that describe its daily life and working environment.

Rector of İstanbul University Prof.Dr. Mahmut Ak, President of Sabancı University Founding Board of Trustees Güler Sabancı and SSM Museum Director Nazan Meter participated to the event.

The Rector of İstanbul University Prof. Dr. Mahmut Ak speaking at a press conference said  "The exhibition" Feyhaman Duran’s  Between Two Worlds " is a different and important project prepared by Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum based on İstanbul University Feyhaman Duran Culture and Art House and Collection. We are very happy to work with Sabancı University on this project. "

Güler Sabancı, Chairman of the Founding Board of Sabancı University, stated that "Feyhaman Duran was pleased to welcome the exhibition in the 15th year of the founding of the SSM and expressed his considerations for the exhibition as it brings the two academic institutions together. Sabancı said that İstanbul University was one of the the most established institutions of our country     therefore it is also a great pleasure for me to be able to work together with a young university like Sabancı University through this exhibition. "

SSM Director of the curators Dr.Sergin Nazan Ölçer drawing attention to the cooperation with İstanbul University said that "Feyhaman Duran's large collection has been haused in İstanbul University. "We are obliged to be able to display Feyhaman Duran's works with a number and a content in terms of richness that have never happened before in cooperation with İstanbul University in the first place"

The exhibition entitled "Feyhaman Duran Between Two Worlds" is waiting for art lovers at SSM until July 30th.
