Ghanaian Information Minister Mustapha Abdul-Hamid visited the Nadir Works Library.
Minister Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, who visited Istanbul University on 7 June 2017, was the first president of the ICU Rector Prof.Dr. Mahmut Ak received in his office. In the meeting, IU Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut Ak and Minister Mustapha Abdul-Hamid evaluated the work and cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.
Minister Mustapha Abdul-Hamid gave a lecture titled “Islam, Politics and Citizenship in Ghana: A Historical Assessment” at the ICU Hall of Rectorate Building within the scope of the visit to Istanbul University.
After the conference Minister Mustapha Abdul-Hamid and his delegation paid a visit to, IU’s Rare Books Library and İÜ’s Bayezid II Turkish Bath Culture Museum.
A special exhibition was prepared for the delegation by Rare Books Library and the works were taken to be attractive by the delegation.
