The library continues seminars held in May in cooperation with the relevant faculty under the heading "New Options / New Academic Resources" open access to all the university's databases. To ensure the participation of our academics and students in their place without losing time and hosted by the Faculty of Engineering two seminars were held in Prof. Ali Riza Berkem Conference Hall.
* 21 MAY 2015 / Knovel Engineering PLATFORM AND DATABASE Turkey an official presentation was made by Harun Karakaş representative Hyperlinks company. Information shared about the search strategy located 20 main topics highlighted in the Knovel electronic database book. In particular, it was focused on the tables and graphs and formulas situated in e-books and to how the interactive process can be made by creating their own values and to transfer this data to Excel. When preparing lecture notes turning them into a source of help along with how to use automatically classified information interactively and comparatively in researches. Emphasis was made on data search options with this feature specific searches can be done related to elements. Information on the Academic Challenge held every year Knovel was also shared.
** 26 MAY 2015 / IEEE Xplore IEEE representation of the European Representative DATABASE training seminars were held by Eszter Lukacs. The seminar emphasized on the database interface and its use along with the contents of the sources of the information. In IEEE information about the adoption process of the publication date and publication was provided. Brief information on authorship and the content of the auxiliary videos were shared. Also, it was focused on the advantages of IEEE Student clubs on members.
