Incites Training Seminar
İstanbul University library hosted a librarian training program organization for Incites academic performance measurement system for online information source on March 2, 2016. Within the framework of a program and with the participation of Istanbul University, Boğaziçi University, İstanbul Bilgi University, MEF, and Özyeğin University where details of all the content and modules within the scope of Incites have been taken up.
With the participation of Jamal El Qashqa of Education Department of Thomson Reuters and Asst. Assoc. Dr. Metin Tunç Bronze a faculty member of Istanbul University a training program has been conducted by creating seven scenarios on Incites. The scenarios have been conducted on the following topics; performance measurement of departments, comparison of university funds, patent analysis, collaboration, development of human resources and collection development of libraries. It has been targeted for the participants to have the latest and a mastery on Incites through the training.
In addition, information on other auxiliaries (Essential Science Indicators or Journal Citation Reports) has also been provided.
