Rector of the University of Tunis visit the Library of Rare Books
On occasion of 2nd. Turkey-Tunisia Universities Cooperation Forum oganized by Higher Education Council (HEC) "Tunisian Rectors visited Istanbul University on May 3, 2016.
Firstly, Tunisian authorities and Rectors visited IU Rector Prof.Dr. Mahmut Ak at his office exchanging views on bilateral programs and student exchanges joint projects with the Istanbul University.
Then, along with IU Rector's Prof. Dr. Mahmut Ak they paid a visit the Library of Rare Works which houses exclusive and valuable works in its collection making a tour in the premises and visiting an exhibition prepared exclusively on their honour. Our esteemed Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut Ak and our Department Head Dr.Pervin BEZİRCİ briefed them on the ongoing projects on valuable works. Cooperation talks were also held.
