"The Third Place Libraries: New Roles, New Approaches Panel" has been held
The panel, bearing the same name with the theme of the 53rd Library Week, was held at the İstanbul University Congress and Culture Center on March 27, 2017 at 13.00 in cooperation with İstanbul University’s Central Library and TKD İstanbul Branch.
Chaired by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Canatar from the Department of Computer and Instructional Technology Education at Istanbul University, Prof.Dr.Selçuk Hünerli of the Information and Documentation Department. From İstanbul Adıgüzel Vocational High School Faculty Member Assist. Assoc.Prof. Berrin Küçükcan and İstanbul University' Avcılar Campus Library. The opening speech of the panel made by Dr. Pervin Bezirci, İÜ Library and Documentation Department Head, Antonio D'addario, the architect of the building, participated as a speaker.
Just as earlier on during the week, this panel once more emphasized how the Third Place Libraries could build up the possible roles with new approaches.
