55th Library Week Opening Ceremony was Held in İstanbul University
The Opening Ceremony of 55th Library Week organized with the cooperation of İstanbul University, İstanbul Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism and İstanbul Branch of Turkish Librarians Association, was held on March 25, 2019 at İU Faculty of Science’s Prof. Dr. Cemil Bilsel Conference Hall. The 55th Library Week was celebrated on March 25 20131, 2019.
The opening speeches of the event, starting with the National Anthem, were held by the Governor of İstanbul Ali Yerlikaya, İU’s Rector Prof.Dr. Mahmut Ak, Director of İstanbul Provincial Culture and Tourism Coşkun Yılmaz, Turkish Library Association's İstanbul Branch President Emine Hatun Gür, İstanbul Medeniyet University’s Department of Information Management Ekrem Tak and İstanbul Medeniyet University’s Department of Information and Document Management’s Student Melek Kılıç.
