Istanbul University Hosts ANKOS 6th. Personnel Exchange Program
İstanbul University, Sabancı University and City Universities host the sixth series of the Personnel Exchange Program, this year on 11 - 15 September 2017 organized every year by the Anatolian University Libraries Consortium (ANKOS http://www.ankos.gen.tr/web/) which took place in İstanbul.
Within the scope of the exchange program, librarians of various universities from Turkey and abroad visited İstanbul University’s Central Library on September 15. Participants who received detailed information about the Barrier-free Information Center and Rare Books Library, made presentations on their university librarians at the İstanbul University’s Congress and Culture Center and on their experience and impressions during the Ankos Personnel Exchange program.
We would like to thank our young colleagues for their participation in these initiatives, which have been very useful for the librarians to gain experience and knowledge through different perspectives at different universities, to create new mutual cooperation and communication networks.
