Pathways Studio Database Workshop Performed
A workshop was organized for Elsevier's Molecular Biology and Genetic Analysis Tool Pathways Studio database, joined to our library's electronic resources in 2018, in cooperation with Elsevier Publishing House, Science Faculty Molecular Biology and Genetics Department and BIOGEM on February 26, 2018 in the Science Laboratory Computer Lab. Applicants made from Cerrahpaşa, Çapa, Aziz Sancar DETAE, Science, Pharmacy, Engineering and Veterinary Faculties for the workshop were held in two separate sessions between 14: 00-18: 00 due to the hall capacity.The Pathway Studio
Workshop, which allows visualizing the closest interactions between pathways, causative agents, inhibitors, receptors, genes and diseases have been realized with the participation of Pola Girgis from the Elsevier education department. At the workshop, participants used computers to visualize metabolic pathways of scientific data published on the system related to biological processes and disease mechanisms.
