Seminar on Reflections of Big Data Developments on Access to Information organized in cooperation with İstanbul University Library and Documentation Department and Informatics Department was held on 24 June 2019 in İstanbul University Ph.D. Hall.
The opening speeches of the panel were presented by the Head of Library and Documentation Department Dr.Pervin Bezirci and Head of Informatics Department Prof.Dr. Sevinç Gülseçen.
After the opening speeches, Dr. Serra Çelik clarified data and big data concepts. Dr.Murat Gezer talked about the development of artificial intelligence, its current situation and how it can help in library applications.
