Romania Babes-Bolyai University & İstanbul University Cooperation
In the collection of the Sultan.Abdulhamid II's album,photographs consisting of 112 pieces on different subjects related to the Romanian culture were transferred to the digital medium and the work "Old Photos From the Romanian Regions, kept in the Album Collection of Sultan Abdulhamid II (1876-1909)" was published.
Project and book promotion meetings were held with the participation of Rectors, Rector Assistants, Turcology Institute Director and a few deans of both universities.
This work, consisting of photographs selected from the Yıldız Palace Photograph Collection taken during the Abdülhamid period Babes-Bolyai University and İstanbul University Library and Documentation Department with the cooperation of the Rare Books of Art Library belonging to 19. century and Sultan Abdulhamid II, which can be described as the world's largest visual archive of the century, is of great importance in terms of enhancing the accessibility to valuable works making acontribution to world cultural heritage and improving intercultural dialogue.
