The 100th anniversary of the birth of Darülelhan, Turkey’s first official music school, under the leadership of the Ottoman Period Music Practice Research Center (OMAR), the origin of which was preserved through the cooperation of the Library and Documentation Library Rare Books Library, It was celebrated at the concert held at the St. Irene Church in 2017.
Minister of Culture and Tourism. Dr. Nabi Avcı and Rector of Istanbul University Prof.Dr. Mahmut Ak also participated to the concert.
